Novara Counselling Services

Life can feel heavy at times — even when we’re surrounded by people, it’s easy to feel unseen or alone. I offer a calm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can explore what’s been weighing on you — whether that’s anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, cultural or identity challenges, or simply feeling stuck and unsure where to turn.
I work with people from all walks of life and have a particular sensitivity to how culture, family, and lived experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and others. As a British Pakistani counsellor, I value creating an inclusive, down-to-earth space where difference is respected and individuality is celebrated.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply human. I believe healing begins when you feel genuinely heard and accepted just as you are. Together, we’ll explore your story at a pace that feels right for you, helping you understand your emotions, make sense of your experiences, and move towards greater clarity, confidence, and self-acceptance.
I’m a qualified Integrative Counsellor with a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am currently completing my Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I’m committed to working ethically, safely, and with integrity. My practice is guided by the BACP Ethical Framework — ensuring that the support you receive is professional, confidential, and grounded in care and respect.
If you’re ready to begin your counselling journey, I’m here to meet you where you are — with warmth, curiosity, and compassion.

Anxiety and depression can leave you feeling trapped in your own mind — constantly worrying, exhausted, or disconnected from the things you once enjoyed. I offer a calm, understanding space to help you make sense of what’s happening and find ways to move forward.

Grief can take many forms — the loss of a loved one, a relationship, or even a sense of who you once were. There’s no right way to grieve. I provide a compassionate space to express your pain, remember, and find your own way through, at a pace that feels right for you..

Trauma can stem from a single event or build over time through years of difficult experiences. Its impact can leave you feeling unsafe, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Together, we’ll gently explore what you’ve been through at your own pace, helping you make sense of your experiences, rebuild trust in yourself, and begin to heal.

Addiction can leave you feeling trapped in a painful cycle of guilt, shame, or isolation. You don’t have to face it alone. Together, we’ll explore what lies beneath the behaviour, build self-understanding, and develop healthier ways to cope — supporting you as you move towards recovery and a renewed sense of self.

Adolescence and early adulthood can be a confusing time filled with emotional, academic, and social pressures. I offer counselling for young people aged 13 to 24, providing a safe, confidential space to explore feelings, build confidence, and develop tools for managing anxiety, relationships, and identity in a way that feels supportive and empowering.

As a counsellor in training, you may be balancing personal growth with professional expectations. I offer an understanding, non-judgemental space where you can explore challenges, reflect on your process, and deepen your self-awareness.
I also offer concessionary rates to support you as you train and complete placement hours.
